Session 1 (Online Learning Strategies & Netiquette)
CALL is Computer Assisted Language Learning
Learning and teaching in the classroom cannot just be easily transferred into online learning environment. It is because there are many things that have to be considered while doing online learning and online teaching for example, the technology, ease of navigation, communication features available, etc. So it is obviously not true that online learning is just something that is similar to web browsing, just typing and clicking without any planning, any strategies and probably without any clear set goals.
Then I would read, and I hope this lesson gonna be fun!

For me this online CALL Course probably is a new experience.
Therefore, adaptation with the online learning environment is probably the
first thing to do. So, at this first online session just make yourself familiar
with available features that this virtual learning environment offers (VLE). If
you find any difficulties do not hesitate to send message or post questions to
the discussion board section.
This first week to explore this online learning environment. So I'll
take my time to try every available feature.
My lecture said, "To better prepare yourself for online learning
experience; it would be a good idea to read the following web pages about some
strategies to be successful in online learning."
Then I would read, and I hope this lesson gonna be fun!
